The Lazy Eagle Resort is a family-owned (since 1972) motel catering to folks who want to get away for a little peace and quiet. Much of our clientele consists of people who have been coming here for many years -- including people who were here as kids now coming back with kids of their own.

We offer 14 units, all kitchenettes with 2 double beds, a dinette set, air conditioning and TV. (One building, 4 units, has smoking rooms, and the other 3 buildings, 10 units, have non-smoking rooms.) The kitchens (all-electric) have a refrigerator, microwave oven, countertop burners (no conventional oven), plates, glasses, flatware and cooking pans and utensils, toaster and automatic coffee maker. We supply sheets, towels, etc., but you afre welcome to bring your favorite beach towels.
Outside, each building has charcoal grills and picnic tables.
There are no phones in the rooms, but we're happy to deliver incoming messages. We also have a secure WiFi router.

From Memorial Day through early-September our pool is open to all ages. An out-doors hot tub is available to adults (and to teenagers only from 4 to 5:30pm) from mid-April through mid-October.
The pool ca. 1973 (note the bathing suits). Diving board is gone and we now have a fence (insurance reasons). One of the largest motel pools in the area (20' x 40'. 8'6" maximum depth).
Pets are welcome, subject to the terms of our pet policy.
We are located about:
150 yards from Table Rock Lake (the #1 trophy bass lake in the world) -- at a point that has "the best water for skiing on this lake," (according to several of our guests)
300 yards from the Eagle Rock Marina
9 miles from Roaring River State Park (trout fishing & hiking)
12 - 15 miles from the Cassville and King's River golf courses
13 miles from Eureka Springs (Passion Play; and a wide range of craft, art, etc. shops)
40 miles from Branson (Silver Dollar City; many shows; but be prepared for traffic congestion during the Summer season)

Group discount: 10% for 20-room-nights in the 2-6 nights rate group, excluding holiday (Memorial Day, 4 July, Labor Day) weekends. 1-night and 7-or-more night bookings are not eligible for this discount unless part of a group that qualifies without counting them.
For the following Holiday weekends reservations will be taken only for 3 nights or more:

Discounts
In addition to the lower rates for 2-6 and 7+ night stays, we have the following discounts. Note that these are not additive -- we'll apply the largest one for which you qualify -- and that they do not apply to bookings involving the Memorial Day, 4 July, Labor Day holidays.
Returning guests. Each year we send out a letter to those people who stayed with us the year before. Bring that with you the following year to receive $5/night off for your room rate.
Newbies. Also for those who have been here before. Bring us guests who have not been here since I took over in 2000, put them in a room separate from yours, and you each receive 15% off for the nights that you are here together.
Large Group. 10% off for 20-room-nights at the same time in the 2-6 nights rate group. (1-night and 7-or-more night bookings will not be eligible for this discount unless part of a group that qualifies without counting them.)
Frequent Visitor Program
During a single 12 month period, book 8 or more room nights (excluding Memorial Day, 4 July, and Labor Day holidays) for a single guest and these will be charged at the 7+ night rate. The bookings can be in whatever blocks you want (e.g., 2 nights x 4; 3 nights x 2 + 1 night x 2; etc.), subject to availability at the time you book.
These reservations can be used only by the person making the reservation.
The dates reserved are "use-or-lose" as originaly set up, except that up to 3 nights can be rescheduled within the original 12 month period on at least 10 days notice, subject to availability at the time you make the change.
Payment will be made at the time of booking for the base cost of the rooms for the dates booked. Any extra charges (extra guests, pets, etc.) will be collected at the time of each stay.
Deposit, Cancellation and Early Departure Policies
For reservations during the summer rate period (roughly Memorial-Labor Days), a deposit is required. This will be for the first night, for the first 2 people, except for the holidays noted above, when the deposit will be for the first 3 nights.
There will be a $15 per room cancellation fee for cancellations made prior to 2 pm:
10 days before your scheduled arrival date for non-holiday weekends
30 days before your scheduled arrival date for the 3-day holidays.
For cancellations after that time the deposit will be forfeited in full if the room cannot be re-rented, but will be refunded less the $15 cancellation fee if it is re-rented.
Nearly all of our summer business is reserved in advance. Therefore, an early departure can cost us a reservation for a room that was not available when the call attempting to reserve it came in. Consequently, there will be no refund for early departures during the May-September rate period. However, in recognition that some early departures may be for reasons beyond our guest's control, (non-transferrable) credit for the unused nights will be given for a later stay during the same calendar year.
